Gemini says that the difference between vaccination policies in the USA and the UK are due to, among a few other things, "litigious culture" in the US. So the CDC recommends to vaccinate against everything that can be prevented through vaccination, whereas in the UK they leave some things to take their natural course - eg chickenpox.

Of course! I'm not aware of justification of the U.S. immunization approach. My point is that it looks reasonable enough to me. I don't really see recommendations to "vaccinate against everything". Might be the case, just not my perception.
